To commemorate the game's opening, we've set up this intro mingle post to help you guys get settled in. NPCs might even pop in from time to time to guide your characters along or make their school life harder. Even so, we hope you have fun and enjoy!

Please don't forget to add the date when the thread is taking place (e.g. "5th day of the 1st term", "term 1, day 5") in the subject line! December 1 is the 1st day of the 1st term, December 2 is the 2nd... you get the idea.

[ It still has to be a dream. She fell asleep at the train station and it's just a dream. Koharu takes a few steps forward, her purse clutched at her side and looking around nervously. Trying to will herself awake is just leaving her with a headache and she reaches up to rub her temples before looking around again.]

I fell asleep. It's just a dream...A very lucid dream.

[motheringnation]

[Ukraine is looking around.]

.....I don't think we can all be dreaming...

Oh...I suppose. It just feels like a dream. I was at the train station... [She tucks her purse to her chest]

[motheringnation]

[Ukraine sighs, moving her book under her arm.]

I was reading to some children. I was right in the middle of a story too. The poor dears must think I've vanished on them.

[willbeurprincess]

I'm sure they'll be alright...I hope my job understands. I was supposed to work tomorrow morning. [ She looks nervous already]

[motheringnation]

.....oh dear I didn't even think of that.

[Ukraine suddenly looks pale.]

And I have a meeting in a few days too. Oh, I hope we can get things settled soon.

[willbeurprincess]

Oh--I'm sorry, I didn't mean to upset you. My job isn't that important.

[motheringnation]

What? Oh no, I'm sorry.

[Looks over to see who she's talking to better.]

I'm sure they'll understand. What country were you in before you came here?

[willbeurprincess]

Japan...um, I'm still sorry. I'm sure you would have rather postponed that particular set of worries.

[motheringnation]

Japan? Well he's reasonable. If we get back I could have a word with him for you, if you'd like.

[willbeurprincess]

...A word with him?

[motheringnation]

Yes, Japan.

Ah, we're not very close. But it shouldn't be that hard to get a hold of him if we get back. He lives right next to my brother too.

[willbeurprincess]

...I don't actually understand what you mean? Do you know someone named for Japan?

[Lithuania is trying to convince himself of a very similar thing--which is why he's not sure the presence of a woman saying what he's thinking is a good sign or a bad one.

Laima, the puppy Lithuania was walking, cares remarkably less for her owner's troubles and in fact takes advantage of his inattention to run over and sniff Koharu's shoes. Of course, the tug on the leash brings Lithuania back to the world--and even if this is a dream he shouldn't be impolite.]

Ah, Laima, no--I'm sorry, Miss. Laima, sėdėt.

[The puppy at least knows that command, and so despite her excitement she sits down--on top of Koharu's foot. Lithuania sighs.]

[Koharu looks down to the puppy and she almost wants to pet the puppy but it's not hers and she really shouldn't--Oh. She giggles]

Oh it's alright--You don't know better, do you puppy. [At least something is distracting her from this very strange situation]

[vytis]

[Laima wiggles, a bit, being addressed. Lithuania is just glad the woman isn't annoyed or anything as he lightly tugs Laima off of her foot.]

I suppose this is a pretty big adventure for her--or something?

[Honestly Lithuania still isn't quite sure what's going on.]

[willbeurprincess]

[ She kneels a little to offer her fingers for sniffing] It's a big adventure for all of us don't you think? Um, I don't happen to know what's going on, do you?

[vytis]

[Laima sniffs at her hand and then licks her fingers. Lithuania frowns at the woman's question; he'd been hoping she would know, honestly.]

I'm afraid not. I just--walked out of there--? [He gestures back to the dungeon entrance.] But I was outside walking my dog just a few minutes ago...

[willbeurprincess]

[ Koharu bites her lip at the admission of not knowing either. A gentle scratch behind the ear for Laima and she stands. ] Ah I won't trouble you any longer then. And I'm sorry, I should have gotten permission before touching the puppy. [
She bows quickly ]

[vytis]

Oh, it's fine, Miss. [Lithuania smiles in an attempt to reassure her. Laima licks her shoe.] I'm not sure anyone knows what's going on--except maybe the people in charge? Though that woman didn't really say much when I asked...

[willbeurprincess]

Izaki Koharu. Ah, that's my name. Um--[ She giggles at the luck and starts twirling her hair nervously. It's looking less like a dream and more like done surreal reality than anything else at this point and she's so lost. ]

[vytis]

Oh, I'm Lithuania. It's nice to meet you, Miss Koharu. [Lithuania smiles, though the confusion is starting to become more apparent. Lithuania doesn't really have lucid dreams, and the idea of one going on for this long while he's so aware of it is getting less and less likely.

Of course, the other option is that he's been transported to some other world. Maybe that's even less likely.]

I suppose the circumstances could be less odd, though.

[willbeurprincess]

...Lithuania? Like the country? [ Odd name but she's too polite to say that ] It could have been but we don't get to pick these things.

[vytis]

Ah, yes, the country. [Not like the country. The country.] This is more unusual than most circumstances, I think.

[willbeurprincess]

Oh...pardon? [ Confusion abounds everywhere ]
