The game is officially OPEN! Feel free to make your own posts in the community and get the ball rolling. To commemorate the game's opening, we've set up this intro mingle post to help you guys get settled in. NPCs might even pop in from time to time to guide your characters along or make their school life harder. Even so, we hope you have fun and enjoy!

Please don't forget to add the date when the thread is taking place (e.g. "5th day of the 1st term", "term 1, day 5") in the subject line! December 1 is the 1st day of the 1st term, December 2 is the 2nd... you get the idea.

Maybe you were just exploring when you found it or you really need to study. The library is full of books as far and as high as one can see. There are ladders to reach books on high shelves but some books require use of a magic carpet.

From the Magnoshutatt info page: A wide selection of literature on various topics can be found here - fiction, poetry, treatises, travel guides, you name it. Most books and scrolls will be about magic, of course. Material on other nations in the game’s setting may be found, but characters will find nothing about Magnoshutatt’s history.

[She'd gotten a bit lost after looking around, and somehow found the library. She decides to look through it.

If she sees anyone, she'll offer a slight nod.]

[ She nods back, trying to smile - she eventually ended up here, and now is looking for informations about this place. No luck so far. ]

Um, this may be a strange question....but did you randomly arrive here?

[ That's not so strange, considering some people asked her the same question so far. A little nod, a weak smile. ]

I arrived today. It was all sudden.

[Lithuania's been trying to learn about the history of this place. The lack of anything on Magnoshutatt itself is frustrating, though. Therefore, he's a bit distracted when he wanders by.] Ah, hello--

[Wait. He freezes in place and then whirls around.] Miss Ukraine!

[She looks over quickly.]

Lithuania!

[Oh my gosh, she's so happy to see someone she knows. You are getting a huge hug now.]

I didn't think I knew anyone here. I'm so glad to see you!

[An expected response, really, so Lithuania hugs back.]

You're the only other country I've met so far. [Though maybe there are others here, if there's at least two of them.] Um--do you know what's going on?

Why, a treatise on travel between planes. While I'm sure this country is fine for those born to it, and certainly it is far more civilized than most Eastern settlements I've seen, I was taken from the midst of a battle I would like to return to.

Bah, it is most likely done either way, but no doubt my friends would be concerned if I have disappeared.

[sounds... actually annoyed that she missed the end of the fight]

[ Someone seems very reclusive in the corner of the library, holed up away from others with books piled haphazardly at his feet, knees pulled up to his chest. He sighs and puts another book down. The pointed hat doesn't cover his messy hair, but it does obscure his face at first. ]

[ Obviously no one important is going to be at this Academy. Leo really doesn't care as he reads, but he keeps becoming apathetic mid-page, and setting down books. It's usually so easy for him to finish them, and it seems like he just can't bring himself to care about the story. --

[After stumbling across the library, Naoto decided to take this chance to actually read up on this place here. Naoto herself would remain silent, however, she will cast the occasional glance over to anyone near her and/or their reading material.]

[Latvia sat a short way away from her. After all the physical exercise yesterday he was in no place to do anything even remotely strenuous. Instead he'd decided to settle in the library. Latvia was in his element, huddled in a corner reading a book on the history of the Kou empire. Admittedly he had a hard time getting into it, there was so much about this world that he didn't understand.

With his vision drifting from the page he caught Naoto's gaze. As they locked eyes he immediately hid behind his book. In such a strange place he'd become painfully shy of people unfamiliar to him]

[When Naoto was scanning across the library again, one of the other "students" caught her gaze, only to quickly hide. His hiding place, the book he was reading, also caught her attention, being that it was of the Kou Empire. It might not be about their home, but it was certainly a good place to start too. And perhaps she could do something to ease the tension this boy (lol) was showing.]

Hello? [Having walked over, Naoto sat down so that she wouldn't loom over him, and not too close to him so that he would be startled.] That's an interesting book you have there.

[If there's a library, that's where Estonia wants to be. He needs to understand what exactly is going on in this place. All things considered, things could be a whole lot worse, but he still wished he had a better understanding of why he was here and what sort of impact that was having on the life he was supposed to be leading at home.

So books. Books are good.

He'll probably be up high on a ladder, mumbling to himself as he thumbs through something, or trying to pretend he's not as scared of the magic carpet as he actually is.]

[England, meanwhile, is in a much better mood than some of the others. She's currently pottering about the library, eagerly collecting books on various types of magic with a slight focus on sound magic. Sure, she wants to go home, kidnapping is so rude, but first things first this is a magic school and she was the only one invited. Suck it, Norway.

She won't be paying much attention to anyone else as she does this, however, so she might accidentally bump into Estonia's ladder. Just a little.]

[And there goes his luck.

As the ladder sways, Estonia makes a little surprised noise, grabbing onto the shelf in front of him to try to stay upright.]

Ah... I don't think the ladders are too stable, so you might want to be careful. Just a head's up.

[Lithuania's been spending more time in the library than he might otherwise, giving the whole place at least a cursory once-over in the quickly dimming hope he'd find a book about Magnoshutatt.

He only glances up, at first, in response to the muttering, but then he realizes he's run into someone else he recognizes.]

Estija, you too?

Oh. Leedu. [Estonia just blinks at him a few times. Everything is so strange here, and now here's one of his almost-neighbours appearing.]

How are you?

[Ukraine is back in the library. Looking around again when she sees him.]

....Estonia?

Oh, Ukraine! It's good to see you here.

[Okay so now he has books and his favourite part of Eastern Europe. His mood is so good he may be sparkling a little.]
