The game is officially OPEN! Feel free to make your own posts in the community and get the ball rolling. To commemorate the game's opening, we've set up this intro mingle post to help you guys get settled in. NPCs might even pop in from time to time to guide your characters along or make their school life harder. Even so, we hope you have fun and enjoy!

Please don't forget to add the date when the thread is taking place (e.g. "5th day of the 1st term", "term 1, day 5") in the subject line! December 1 is the 1st day of the 1st term, December 2 is the 2nd... you get the idea.

I know! To think a place like this actually exists, it's simply amazing! I mean, this isn't quite my sort of magic, but it's quite lovely in it's own way, isn't it? Very exotic.

It really is interesting, but I really, really need to go home...

Er, well- [Ahem. Looks a little guilty.] Me too, naturally. Have some very important business to be getting on with.

[But it's all been so difficult and complicated lately and this all sounds like much more fun. Damn.]

Do you think we'll get to go home if we ask whoever's in charge?

Well, I suppose you could ask them. But it's rather rude to do that during the first week, isn't it? We should at least give them a chance.

But- but they took us away so suddenly without any warning...

Well, magic tends to be like that. They don't tend to worry about mundane things like schedules and appointments and matters of state.

B-but I was already attending a magic school! Why do I have to go to another one?

I've only heard of one, and it isn't this school... DWMA is for Weapons and Meisters, not magicians specifically. I don't even know if we have magicians there, now that I think about it.

That doesn't sound at all occult.

W-well, I could transform into a halberd! Does that qualify as some sort of magic?

It certainly does! I'm afraid all my transfigurations turned out- ["wrong" "missing" "on fire"]

... I mean, I don't really care for that sort of thing.
