The game is officially OPEN! Feel free to make your own posts in the community and get the ball rolling. To commemorate the game's opening, we've set up this intro mingle post to help you guys get settled in. NPCs might even pop in from time to time to guide your characters along or make their school life harder. Even so, we hope you have fun and enjoy!

Please don't forget to add the date when the thread is taking place (e.g. "5th day of the 1st term", "term 1, day 5") in the subject line! December 1 is the 1st day of the 1st term, December 2 is the 2nd... you get the idea.

[ Norway is looking over his schedule, having recently finished his exam as well. He isn't horribly surprised to see a familiar face. If they got him, why not others? ]

Ain't it obvious? Ya took a placement exam. [ Just a magic one. Obviously. ]

I automatically logged into Iceland's account at first...

[Lithuania is somehow a little less surprised to see Norway here than the other nations--it seems more fitting for him to be wandering around a magical school than most of the others.]

Ah--but I actually got in...? [That wasn't a thing he could do before!] ...Mister Norway, do you know where this place is?

[ He looks back down to his schedule. That lady had told him where they were, but it was a strange word, too hard to remember. He finds the academy's name on that paper, and yeah, that was it. ]

Magno... shutatt. [ Not that he knows much more about it, so he's not going to be very helpful. ]

Never heard'a it. Somethin' ain't right with it, though. [ Because he could barely do anything during the exam and it was incredibly frustrating. ]

IN JANUARY!!!

So you, Mister England, and Romania didn't have anything to do with any of this? [Lithuania is kind of disappointed; at least that would be a reasonable (relatively) explanation for all of this.] What's wrong with it?

[...Well, actually Lithuania can think of a lot of things wrong with it.]

Ya can think that if it helps. [ This is what it's like when he tries to be helpful.

Anyway, he eyes Lithuania's medal. Not that he understood what was written on it, but it was the same one he got, which meant they must have been placed in the same level. ]

Look. We got the same rank. But I should be at the top'a the class. [ He will just leave out how terribly he failed at the exam. ]

I shouldn't be in the class at all. [Norway does have a point, though, in that getting a higher rank should have been incredibly easy for him. Lithuania looks around a bit.] Maybe everyone gets that when they first show up?

[smorbror]

Then what's the point? [ His pride has been hurt. ] Ya'd think a magic school would care who's experienced and who's clueless.

[vytis]

To prove we can use magic, maybe? [However he was managing it here he had been able to do something.]

[smorbror]

Just what kinda magic are they wantin'? [ Because he'd never needed this necklace before to do any sort of magic. ] Did ya get somethin' weird, too?

[vytis]

Something weird--oh, I had this with me, all of the sudden. [Lithuania taps the arming sword he has.] And I guess that's what made the rock move, or... Something.

[smorbror]

[ Staring at it. So probably everyone got something to do magic with. ]

I see. What a menacing guy... [ Lithuania is so menacing. ]

[vytis]

Ehh? Menacing? [There's something Lithuania hasn't been called in centuries.] It's not like I'm going to go fight anyone with it.

[smorbror]

Ya'll just carry it everywhere and wave it around to do magic.

That ain't unsafe?

I suppose it would at least encourage people to stay back whenever I try something...

So yer intent's to be menacing. [ His opinion of Lithuania is shifting........ ]

I wouldn't be trying to be menacing! [Don't think strange things about him!] But if everyone kept back it would probably prevent accidents, that's all.

Wouldn't it be better if ya controlled yerself?
