To commemorate the game's opening, we've set up this intro mingle post to help you guys get settled in. NPCs might even pop in from time to time to guide your characters along or make their school life harder. Even so, we hope you have fun and enjoy!

Please don't forget to add the date when the thread is taking place (e.g. "5th day of the 1st term", "term 1, day 5") in the subject line! December 1 is the 1st day of the 1st term, December 2 is the 2nd... you get the idea.

[Laima wiggles, a bit, being addressed. Lithuania is just glad the woman isn't annoyed or anything as he lightly tugs Laima off of her foot.]

I suppose this is a pretty big adventure for her--or something?

[Honestly Lithuania still isn't quite sure what's going on.]

[willbeurprincess]

[ She kneels a little to offer her fingers for sniffing] It's a big adventure for all of us don't you think? Um, I don't happen to know what's going on, do you?

[Laima sniffs at her hand and then licks her fingers. Lithuania frowns at the woman's question; he'd been hoping she would know, honestly.]

I'm afraid not. I just--walked out of there--? [He gestures back to the dungeon entrance.] But I was outside walking my dog just a few minutes ago...

[willbeurprincess]

[ Koharu bites her lip at the admission of not knowing either. A gentle scratch behind the ear for Laima and she stands. ] Ah I won't trouble you any longer then. And I'm sorry, I should have gotten permission before touching the puppy. [
She bows quickly ]

[vytis]

Oh, it's fine, Miss. [Lithuania smiles in an attempt to reassure her. Laima licks her shoe.] I'm not sure anyone knows what's going on--except maybe the people in charge? Though that woman didn't really say much when I asked...

[willbeurprincess]

Izaki Koharu. Ah, that's my name. Um--[ She giggles at the luck and starts twirling her hair nervously. It's looking less like a dream and more like done surreal reality than anything else at this point and she's so lost. ]

[vytis]

Oh, I'm Lithuania. It's nice to meet you, Miss Koharu. [Lithuania smiles, though the confusion is starting to become more apparent. Lithuania doesn't really have lucid dreams, and the idea of one going on for this long while he's so aware of it is getting less and less likely.

Of course, the other option is that he's been transported to some other world. Maybe that's even less likely.]

I suppose the circumstances could be less odd, though.

[willbeurprincess]

...Lithuania? Like the country? [ Odd name but she's too polite to say that ] It could have been but we don't get to pick these things.

[vytis]

Ah, yes, the country. [Not like the country. The country.] This is more unusual than most circumstances, I think.

[willbeurprincess]

Oh...pardon? [ Confusion abounds everywhere ]

[vytis]

[Lithuania looks confused right back at her--after all, nothing he said was confusing as far as he was concerned. But maybe he'd misspoken?] Did I say something odd?

[willbeurprincess]

[Koharu is confused forever] You meant, you're named after the country, right?

[vytis]

Oh, no, I am the country. [Lithuania says this as if this should be a completely reasonable explanation.]

[willbeurprincess]

...Excuse me?

[vytis]

The country? [And now Lithuania looks confused again.]

[willbeurprincess]

...But you're a person. [ Mututal confusion time]

[vytis]

I'm the physical representation of Lithuania. [Has she not heard of the concept before? Maybe it wasn't well-known wherever she was from?]

[willbeurprincess]

...Oh--I...I see? [She's still confused but he's acting like she should already know about it.]

[vytis]

[Lithuania will explain, then--maybe he's just gotten used to how mass media and interconnectivity have meant most information is widely known.] Every nation has someone like me who represents it. We exist as long as our people are around.

[willbeurprincess]

[She bites her lip, listening and toying with her hair. Was she really that out of touch? She really missed all of this? Polite smile and nod time] I never knew. That seems...interesting.

[vytis]

I suppose it depends on where you live--what you would know, I mean. I was just in Vilnius--my capital, and people there generally recognize me. Where are you from?

[willbeurprincess]

I live in Japan. Or I did? I thought I would have known better?

[vytis]

[Now Lithuania looks confused again--it wasn't as if Japan was out of the way or underdeveloped.] I suppose he does keep to himself a fair amount...

[Japan, that is. Not that Lithuania knows him well, but he does give off that sort of impression.]

[willbeurprincess]

[She bites her lip again and shrugs a little. Now she feels very uninformed and somewhat like the world has been lying to her] I suppose.

[Oh, well, he feels bad about the situation now.] It's alright, really--it's not as if we run everything in secret, or anything.
