The game is officially OPEN! Feel free to make your own posts in the community and get the ball rolling. To commemorate the game's opening, we've set up this intro mingle post to help you guys get settled in. NPCs might even pop in from time to time to guide your characters along or make their school life harder. Even so, we hope you have fun and enjoy!

Please don't forget to add the date when the thread is taking place (e.g. "5th day of the 1st term", "term 1, day 5") in the subject line! December 1 is the 1st day of the 1st term, December 2 is the 2nd... you get the idea.

[Whoa that almost hit him!]

What the hell!

[He shouts, grabbing the book up in his hand and turning to face the assailant]

Be careful you could knock someone unconsci-!

[!!]

Leo?

[ clearly he is imagining that voice. ]

[He's staring now, out right staring before he's rushing forward, throwing the book to the side in his haste]

Leo! Leo, it's you!

[He's down on his knees in front of him, grabbing at his arms, gripping hard to make sure he's not dreaming, but he's real, he's here!]

[ He can't move and won't dare to take a breath. The first thing that tells you it's a dream is when you can't remember how you got here - a stupid glowing door, and before that.... his shoulders lower beneath Elliot's tight grip.. and his eyes slowly turn to the grip. It's not possible.]

Am.... I dreaming?

[frowning:] How long will I have to dream about this?

Dreaming? Leo, what's gotten into you?

[He shakes him now, a gentle shake but one that has strength to it]

I'm right here!

[ one shaky breath, followed by another.., he raises a hand to the forearm of the one holding on to his opposite shoulder. His voice is smaller, scratchy and disbelievingly hopeful...]

Elliot?

[And there's that smile, a laugh on his breath as he squeezes Leo's forearms once]

Yeah.

[ He's frozen for a moment, gripping harder, fingers clenching around bits of fabric. ]

Elliot, I'm so sorry.

[ If he wakes up now, he won't be able to take this again... Maybe this place is real and maybe it can grant wishes or dreams, because this shouldn't be possible.. ]

W-What do you remember last?

[There's a look that can only be confusion on his face before he jerks at the question, looking down quickly-

Flashes of all the wrong he's done come back to him, thankfully not as nearly overwhelming as the first time-]

You shouldn't apologize Leo, you aren't to blame for what I've done.

[Yes the chain deluded him into complacency but he never fought it, let it woo him into forgetting]

I'm sorry Leo. For everything.

[ He was so close to yelling at him - demanding an answer, threatening to ball his fingers and throw a punch, but...

How do you even answer that? If it weren't for his bangs, Elliot would have a clear shot at his eyes, still lacking the glasses from earlier, though they seemed to come back to him when he came here, which was more surreal than anything.]

...

[He stays silent for a long moment, not doing anything before he grips Leo's arms tight then lets them go]

Do something... please.

[ No! He's worried you'll vanish, so he reaches out and snatches a wrist as it retracts.]

You remember what happened...

... what do you remember last, Elliot?

[Frowns; but dammit he won't back away from this!]

I was against the wall, you were across the room from me- I'd just remembered it all.

That's it. Then that golden door and all this.

[He gestures all around them with one hand, the one not with the death grip on it.]

[ Nothing else, really? ashkdla. You know what. You're getting a hug, Elliot. For once, it's Leo that's going to do it and his grip is so desperately tight, it's obvious that something happened to change him, but as soon as he withdraws, even a little bit, you're getting a nice chop to the top of your head. ]

You're an idiot!

[His hands were out to take Leo's shoulders, to ask what else happened because something did to make Leo react like that then- !!]

DAMMIT LEO!

[ It feels like it's been forever since he had a reason to smile. ]

You took that exam then? What room are you assigned to? We're not in the same room.

Yes, I still can't believe I have magic.

[Really, out of everything it's amusing how that's the thing he still can't get]

Uh- I'm in room 103.
