To commemorate the game's opening, we've set up this intro mingle post to help you guys get settled in. NPCs might even pop in from time to time to guide your characters along or make their school life harder. Even so, we hope you have fun and enjoy!

Please don't forget to add the date when the thread is taking place (e.g. "5th day of the 1st term", "term 1, day 5") in the subject line! December 1 is the 1st day of the 1st term, December 2 is the 2nd... you get the idea.

[ Koharu was interested in moving water, since that seemed to be the purpose of get time here. And she is getting swept up in the whole experience. Her first swish if her rifle gets little response, but the second movement was too fast and she ended up getting water all over a nearby person and possibly whatever they were practicing on. ]

[ Koharu fumbles in the pocket of her uniform for a handkerchief. Upon finding one, she held it out for gals a second before trying to dry him off herself ] Tricky is one way to put it. Slightly frustrating is another. But it's fun, don't you think?

It's kinda weird. I can't remember not being able to make water dance around...

Oh--do you mean you had this before you arrived?

Kinda... I could control water Leafe.

Is water leafe a sort of magic?

Leafe is what gives life it's... aliveness.

[He's seven, he has a limited grasp of this]

Everything has it, and there's seven different kinds.

...Like a soul? Or--an element? Spirit? [She tries to imagine this] Aren't there eight kinds of magic here though? Why would their magic be different from yours?

Spirit, maybe... [He's never really thought about it, it always just was]

I don't know why it's different here.

It's still worth noting...Are you from Japan?

[ Sayaka spent practically whole hours trying to move a pinwheel. The focus was so hard that when water was splashed on her, she jumps in utter surprise, looking around frantically until she registers whoever is apologizing to her. ]

Don't--... [ No, no, she shouldn't show herself so weak and distressed! She tries again, this time firmly. ] Don't worry about it.

[Koharu still feels bad. The last time was at least with someone who was already practicing with water.] If you're sure. Control isn't my strong point yet--not that I think it's any of our strong points. I'm sorry if your pinwheel got wet. It probably makes it harder to move .

... Like I said, don't worry about it. I need a pause anyway. [ She waves her hand, smiling rather awkwardly. ] Trying to come up with a magic spell is hard anyway. I never had magic back in my world.

Neither did I. It's strange but sort of exciting don't you think. [ She gives the girl a closer look ] You must still be in high school at home. Or am I misjudging your age?

[idolizer]

I suppose it is. [ She chuckles a little bit. Suddenly becoming a sort of wizard after dying is not the most common thing that would happen to anyone. ]

I'm from High School indeed. I... was at school before I was brought here.

It's been a little while since I've been in school, but--this isn't precisely like japanese school. Oh--I'm sure your school will understand your absence.

[idolizer]

I agree. For instance, they don't make us wear these uniforms. [ Vaguely pointing at the one she's wearing. ] And I'm not worrying about my own school. They'll... understand. [ Her tone is a little unsure at that. The reason would be obvious if you knew what she went through in that school. ]

No, but the different uniforms at home could be just as bad. Just...a different sort. At least you don't have to worry about that I suppose.

[idolizer]

I guess I shouldn't. It's still weird. This place is nothing like Japan, and the difference in cultures are evident.

Nothing like Japan at all...At least we aren't being hurt though. Things could always be worse. I'm surprised we weren't imprisoned for being here unwanted.

Whoever took us here must have taken care of that. [ Probably... ] But who knows what they're planning to do with us. This is too weird...

...I don't know, but I'm sure there's a reason. You don't just take in a train so many people--unless they really feel that generous I suppose.
